I have not had anytime to delete all the hundreds of inactive blogs on this site. So, it still may take some time for pages to load, comments to post, etc. Once these inactive blogs are deleted, things should speed up.

I still have not edited the following templates: Softblue, cbstemplate, grey. So if you use them, features may not work, and there could be some other problems.

Hopefully after this weekend I can get more work done on this site. I do this as a free service to the Christian community. I am actually an Outreach Pastor for my church and wear many other hats as needed. All my time this week is in preparing for the Encounter Weekend we have each quarter.  We have seen people delivered from a variety of 'sins that so easily entangle them', at our Encounter Weekends.

I keep getting e-mails regarding individuals not being able to change their template. It appears they are not reading my posts on this, so here is another post.

 DON'T DO THIS:
Don't try to change the template by going into Blog Template menu. Users do not have access to this.

DO THIS
Go into Control Centre and choose Blog Settings. Scroll down and you will see an option to change your blog template.

 Also, please read the User Guide and go to FAQ's. They answer a multitude of questions.

We now have some new templates that you can use for your blog.

Log into your admin area, go to Control Centre, go to Blog Settings, scroll down and you will see where you can choose a template. Click the 'Choose' to view the various templates.

Be aware theat the following templates have not been upgraded and it may be a while. if you are using one of these templates you need to change to another template.

Not valid templates:
Softblue, cbstemplate, grey

It appears that most users did not change their templates to standard prior to to the upgrade-which is causing a nightmare for me to get everyone's blog fully functional.

Please change your template to the standard template. This is done under Control Centere/Blog Settings. Many are trying to do the change via Blog Template Section-this is incorrect.

As of now you should be able to also use Rubric template.

We are happy to announce that we are almost done with upgrade.

This site is now almost spam proof. You may still get some spam comments into your control panel, but you should never have a problem with spam showing up on your comment pages.

If you get spam coming to your control panel, you can copy the IP address for the spammer and put it into the host block security feature (info in User Guide-link easy to find, it is bold print on top of Summary Page.

I would encourage you to read the User Guide for easy to understand instructions on how to use all the features that come with your blog. I will update it even more as time allows.

 NOTE: Currently only the standard template is fully functional so make sure you change your template to 'standard' until tomorrow (hope to have a variety of other templates fully functional). Some templates will be deleted because they are not compatible with the upgraded software.

 You will find that reading, commenting, and posting will be much faster. Even better when I delete all the extra blogs.
